ABOUT ME

Behind The Scenes

Joseph Reynolds has been working in theatre from 2007 as a Drama student intially studying Drama & Performance Studies, Physics and ICT at A level leading to university course in information systems at LJMU, he decided to change track in 2013 and focus on technicial theatre. The change brought him back to Liverpool Community College for a Stage Management & Technical Theatre Course leading to one of his first outside productions (The Swan, Actors Studio) along with additional projects at college.

Carrying on in this manner he returned to university at University Of Cumbria , gaining two degrees in three years  a Fda and B.A in Technical Theatre and was even employed by the unviersity for additonal staff on productions.
He has worked to date approximatley 200 shows by the end of his degree both in education and free-lance settings
.

 

Since his graduation, he has continued to work free-lance as a stage manager and theatre technician throughout the UK. Joseph enjoys creative and experimental theatre seeking new opportunities and challenges where possible in his roles. Though he specialises in Stage Management and Lighting he is well versed in other departments including props, set, sound and rigging.

He hopes for the future to manage touring productions or a house venue and try to explore possible company management. 

​

Joseph is also skilled magician, has a major love for performance, martial arts and reading.
